Personal Toto HK Training

I met with my new personal trainer on Friday.  She’s going to put together a plan of attack for me – running schedule, workout schedule, and an eating / supplement plan.  Really I just needed a kick in the ass for this half-marathon and marathon relay that is fast approaching.  Recently it’s been a struggle to get out there and run even five miles.  Partly due to heat, partly due to work.  With her giving me a schedule, I’ll feel like I have to do it.  I’ve never gone by a diet plan before either.  I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m hoping it consists of eating whole boxes of Cheez-its at night and pizza on the weekends.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed.  Please?

So ideally in the next 2-3 months, I’ll go from 212 to 195-200, and 13.9% body fat to around 9%.  But numbers aside, really I just want to be able to run the races.  I already signed up for them (and paid), so I’ll be quite upset if I fail.

Unfortunately with this, work, and another project that’s somewhat work related, I’m going to have to give up pool for at least a few months.  I’ve played in the league for the past three years (maybe longer, I can’t quite remember).  My captain is the best captain ever, and the woman who runs the league has done an incredible job keeping that league together and expanding leagues all throughout the Triangle.  But it’s time to take some time off.  Hopefully I’ll come back in a few months.

The company I’m working with is doing a ton of good things. It’s nice to be a part of an internet marketing firm that actually does what they claim they’re going to do. Those companies are few and far between, and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when I was looking for a job.

All of our clients are doing well, but every now and then I get to be a part of a campaign that is Toto HK too. I contacted a company called Pictures on Gold and signed them up. Our goal of the campaign was to create awareness and interest in their retail site which sells lockets, pendants, and other personalized jewelry. The company decided to send out a locket to bloggers in our network and have them review the product. The response from our bloggers has just been tremendous. Some of the stories that they tell are definite tear-jerkers, especially when they tell of opening the locket to see a picture of a loved one who has passed. Now they can be physically next to their hearts. Take a look at this article from the Sassy Southerner, who like all of our bloggers, is much more eloquent than me.

The company does some amazing work.  Instead of inserting the picture into the locket, they engrave it into the actual locket.  I don’t know how they do that without losing quality – I’m very impressed.  And I ordered my new Medical ID necklace from them.
